GHS PEP! Summer and Fall Info

GHS PEP!
What You Need to Know!

Each year, GHS PEP! kicks off the Fall football season with a Summer mini-camp (August 22-24). During this time we catch-up, meet new friends, prepare new music and revisit our old favorites. The mini-camp also helps us get ready for what usually is a quick start to the Fall season. Any musician entering grades 8-12 are invited and encouraged to get involved with this high-energy group! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email Mr. Trombley at trombleys@grafton.k12.ma.us. You can follow us on Twitter @GHSPEP

We are Going to Disney!

Last night the School Committee enthusiastically supported our proposal for a Disney Trip!

We are excited to offer the opportunity for any and all students enrolled in a performing ensemble for the 2017-2018 school to travel to Disney. We plan on travelling with the Band, Chorus, Jazz Workshop, Jazz Ensemble and Chamber Choir from May 17-21, 2018.

In order to keep costs as minimal as possible, we are starting this process now. Deposits for the trip will be due by Monday June 12th. Our hope is to take advantage of lower air fares by booking early.

There will be an informational meeting on Monday June 5th at 7pm in the band room at GHS. Doug Bennett from Bennett Student Travel will be there to answer any questions about the trip.

I am including the proposal we put before the School Committee. It has the basic overview of the trip, estimated costs (any price changes are expected to be as minimal as possible), payment schedules, and cancellation info.

In the next week or so a more complete packet will contain trip guidelines, student expectations, health and safety info, etc.

The initial deposit is $150

Great East Festival 2017!

Greetings!
The Blog has been out of commision for sometime while I explored other methods of communication. I have decided that that returning to this format is going to help me out a lot and I hope you feel the same.

We've got the Great East Festival coming up in just a few short weeks. Here is the itinerary for the day:

Parents, friends, family: You are all invited to watch the performances if you care to take a ride out to Springfield Central High School on the 19th.
